Background: About Head
Head is a leading sports apparel manufacturer worldwide known for its quality products. Head is an Austrian company that was founded in the United States back in 1950 by an aeronautical engineer Howard Head.
Originally, the Head used to manufacture Ski equipment. It was the first company to introduce aluminum in manufacturing tennis racquets, which a lot of companies adapted later on. Head was also the first company to introduce the use of titanium and graphite in tennis racquets.
Head even started including graphene in their racquet manufacturing process in 2013, which is also known as the world’s strongest material. The use of Graphene can be particularly seen in the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro racquet.
Prestige, gravity, radical, speed, extreme, and instinct are different tennis racquet lineups head ahs introduced from time to time.

Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro Specifications
First things first, if you play tennis regularly and want to buy a racquet, you should take a proper look at the specs. Specs might seem too technical to many people out there, but it’s not.
Without understanding specs properly, you won’t be able to determine whether a racquet is right for you or not. Though we got you covered with the specs.
Head size: It is 100 sq. in. / 645 sq. cm. and the length: 27in / 68.5cm which is fairly standard and makes it well suited for beginners and intermediate tennis players.
Strung weight: 326g / 11.5oz meanwhile the unstrung weight being 310g / 10.9 oz. This is a very lightweight racquet that will maximize the comfort for extended usage periods and give many unique benefits that I will discuss later on.
If it seems too lightweight, you can add up some more weight by using thicker gauge string. For increasing weight, any method other than using heavy strings is strictly not recommended, and you will be likely to ruin the racquet and your overall experience with it.
So if you don’t like light racquets or cannot get used to light racquets, the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro is not for you.
Balance: 32.49cm / 6 pts HL, which seems pretty good, and swing weight being 318. The string pattern is 18 Mains / 20 Crosses, which indicates that you can achieve better control, and the strings will be durable as well.
You will be able to hit more strings and achieve directional control while flat hitting.
Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro Review
The Head Speed lineup is one of the most popular racquets in the market, hands down. The Head Graphene 360 is the latest addition to the speed lineup with many updates, including subtle tweaks to make it even better. And as the name implies, it’s made for achieving speed.
The weight is a major portion of the update as this racquet is incredibly lightweight. And it used graphene to reinforce the frame. The body also has more flex to it, which made the control of this racquet much better.
There are so many good things to talk about this racquet, leaving a very narrow room for the shortcomings.
If we observe the history of the brand Head, they are all about innovation when it comes to tennis racquet manufacturing materials. They have introduced aluminum, titanium, and graphene to tennis racquets with many other technologies, which is a result of years of research and development.
The Head Graphene is a wonderful piece of tech of Head that is featuring Graphene 360+, Spiralfiber, and many other cutting-edge techs that I am describing below.
2. Graphene 360+
This tech enhances the overall flex of the racquet and makes the frame much stronger. The frame is reinforced by using graphene, covering specifics positions all over the frame. As Graphene is the strongest material on the planet, the use of graphene makes the frame extremely solid and durable.
This also provides the player with a better feel and comfort. A reinforced frame means better stability and a stable channel of energy, from the racquet to the tennis ball. It will ensure maximum power delivery while hitting from any angle.
3. Superactive String Bed
The superactive string bed provides wider cross strings, which directly affects the control and power delivery positively. It is great for spins and ensures proper allocation of power from every spot of the surface area.
4. Dynamic Frame Construction
The speediness of this racquet is enhanced thanks to the Dynamic Frame Construction engineering of Head. Because of this frame construction, it is very durable and impacts resistance at the same time. It makes it feel very solid in hand with defined and satisfying sound with each hit.
Performance is certainly the most important aspect of a tennis racquet as the whole buy decision relies on it. Performance can only be observed by putting it through the ultimate test, which is by playing. So let’s get to know the performance of the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro in detail.
Groundstrokes were always the most substantial point for Head speed series racquets, which got even better in the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro racquets. If you like to get really aggressive, you will love this racquet because you will be able to hit crispy and explosive groundstrokes.
And you don’t even need to put a lot of power into the shots. Instead, you can even swing effortlessly and get a surprisingly stronger response packing with a lot of power. You can also get a decent amount of spin with it.
One thing to note is that the balance is quite different compared to the previous racquets of the speed series. The balanced profile has shifted to speed from control.
And you might not be used to the different balance profiles the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro offers, which shouldn’t be a major concern. You can try using it for a while to see whether you can get used to this particular balance profile.
Compared to the previous models of the speed series, the volley performance has slightly reduced because of the significant weight reduction. This racquet is great for playing from the backside of the court, but not at the net position at the front of the court.
Now, I am not saying that the volley performance is bad by any means. It’s just not as good as its predecessors. You can still land some solid punchy volleys by applying more power.
Though the string pattern is 18×20, it surprises with more power and spin at the same time. So, this racquet is not the best weapon for the net. There are better racquets suited for the net position.
But you will be able to enjoy flawless from the back and send balls far, taking advantage of the enhanced power it’s providing.
A better serve can always increase the chance of winning. And the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro does a really good job at it. However, the lightweight needs a bit of getting used to.
After you get used to the lightweight of this racquet, you will be able to drop punchy serves accompanied by decent spin. Slicing might seem difficult, but as I said, it needs getting used to.
Along with serves, good returns are also essential. And in this field, the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro shines with its speed. It can absorb pace while returning really well. You will also be able to hit spins in the returns applying perfect strength.
Who is the Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro Best for?
The Head Graphene 360 Speed Pro is best for people who like to get very aggressive and land explosive shots. It is definitely not the balanced type of racquet, rather the speed-focused.
The lightweight nature of this racquet will allow you to swing it effortlessly yet land punchy shots. And if you are a beginner or an intermediate tennis player, this can be a sweet pick for you.

This is an excellent racquet from Head, which is very different from the other racquets of this particular lineup.
